She is the author of four books, including Mammoth from the Inside and Storybook Travels, and magazine articles for everyone from Bon Apetit to Westways. A sixth-generation Southern Californian, she lives in Pasadena's Prospect Park. Jill Alison Ganon is the author of three books and the former managing editor of American Bungalow. Jill lives in Southwest Pasadena. Sandy Gillis is a former Tonight Show with Johnny Carson staffer who has written for drive-time radio hosts to Seventeen magazine. She is also an accomplished gardener and chicken rancher at her home in Altadena. Mel Malmberg started her journalism career at the Pasadena Weekly in 1984, and has since written several books for Disney. An Occidental College alum, Mel lives in Altadena. Mary Jane Horton is the editor of Plum magazine. She has also written for Ms. and Fit Pregnancy. Mary Jane lives in Pasadena.
