From the Author
My greatest wish has always been to reach out to as many children as possible in my lifetime. In order to educate and nurture those beyond my daily realm, I felt the need to pass on valuable educational ideas, information and ways to organize a curriculum for daycare providers, parents and teachers who work with ages 0 to 12. Hence, this book was created as a perfect resource guide for anyone working with groups of children who are not at the same developmental level. It has every subject area and every age level coded to fit your needs. Activities reinforce and enhance skills in reading, math, science, social studies, arts & crafts, music/dramatics, nutrition, creative play, educational games and seasonal activities. I've given detailed instructions to help you create lesson plans, plan your time, schedule developmental objectives, be creative and integrate lessons around themes. Being a kindergarten teacher, I see first hand the difference between children who have had educational and social experience before coming to school and those who have not. There's also the issue of what to do with those school age children when they are mixed in with the younger kids. My book will help you create ways to solve the multiple age issue. So, whether you are homeschooling your own kids, a daycare mom looking for a curriculum, parents wanting quality time with your kids, or a teacher who likes new ideas, this book will help you and your kids. Thanks to Amazon for helping me to help others touch the lives of more children! My wish is coming true!
