Contains three stories. The child's first music book or the gamut and time-table in verse, Jacko's merry pence table, Amusing multiplication. No date. Iinscription, in a contemporary hand, dated 1854, on front free end paper. Boards, in original embossed cloth, are a bit faded around the edges. The binding is slack but holding. There are a few foxing spots on a couple of pages but is mostly clean. A few grubby finger marks. The illustrations are all carefully hand coloured, as published. The first two leaves of Jacko's merry pence table are missing (the only other copy that I can find has one of these leaves missing also). Seller Inventory # 5673
