Size: 8 1/4" x 10 3/8". Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Gilt-stamped dark maroon cloth over boards, 32 collotype views of the grounds of George Gill Green's laboratory and residence in Woodbury, NJ. G. G. Green manufactured and sold August Flower, a cure for dyspepsia and liver complaints, and German syrup, a cure for throat and lung ailments. This book was "given away to Dealers in Medicines, for the use of their customers waiting at the counters" to reassure them of the quality of Green's business. Corners and spine ends bumped and lightly worn, gilt stamping rubbed, spine and back board sunned, scattered foxing and staining throughout, inked identification above most images, previous owner's name in ink on title page.
