"I might not be Washington's first dark and brooding vampire, but honey I do it so much better!"
Parker is a vegan turned vampire turned vampire hunter, but his party days have truly been shifted when another vampire starts hunting him and his friends.
"For fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and The Umbrella Academy, this novel is a MUST READ!" - Grimmly Yours
"This is not your typical vampire story, Gabryél offers a fresh and unique twist on vampire mythos. Run out and get a copy now!" - Thronton Greenwood
It's 2007, and in the rain-soaked streets of Seattle Washington, Parker is fighting for his life in more ways than one. Not only is he a starving artist running away from a past that, like him, refuses to stay dead. But after one bender too many, he now finds himself deep in the underworld of vampire hunting while also battling the same infection he's hellbent on eradicating. Parker's grapple with his agonizing reality of turning into the very monsters he hunts proves to be the most terrifying creature he's faced... That is until a bloodthirsty tycoon promises to make Parker the latest pawn in their undead game. But Parker -our emo, drug addled, vegan vampire- and his loyal, if not unconventional, chosen family refuses to be shaken. Together, -a hippie engineering dropout, a second generation vampire researcher, a spunky second generation vampire hunter, and a "reformed" drug dealer- race against all odds to decipher the terms and conditions of this monstrous contract. As the struggle intensifies, Parker and his friends work to help him reclaim his humanity while battling their own demons as well. In this thrilling blend of horror, humor, and heartfelt moments Holy Water Hurts: A Vampire's Guide To Vampire Hunting delves deep into the battle of self-acceptance and the eternal struggle of right and wrong in a world where the line between vampire and vampire hunter is all too thin.
