This fascinating work is profusely illustrated with numerous b/w in-text and full-page illustrations by H. A. Harper, 24 photogravure plates of contemporary views by F. Thà voz and one large fold-out color map of Palestine. Some rubbing along edges of binding. Previous owner's signature on inside of free front endpaper. Minor foxing at rear of plates.
