A good condition book bound in blue soft leather covers. A commemorative edition that includes a presentation box with an image of King George VI on the top lid. The box is in very poor shape with heavy tape repairs and scuffing and pieces of loss to the edges. The bible within has been very well preserved and is in lovely shape, with just a thumbprint-sized piece of paper missing from the title page bottom corner being of note. The presentation page has been filled in. The gold gilt page edges are bright and the binding is secure. The contents are clean and well-kept. This edition contains a generous selection of full-page black and white illustrations of bible locations throughout. The rear pages include a selection of colour map illustrations.
