Green, decorated cloth. red and black map endpapers.There is toning to the spine, and very lightly along the extremities, otherwise a clean, tight unmarked copy. of this rare publication. Stated eighth impression on the copyright page. Unclipped pictorial jacket has the original "12s. 6d. ne"t price on the front flap.(The clips on the lower part of the flaps do not affect the "12s. 6d.net" listed). there is toning across the upper extremities, and minor offsetting to the front panel, otherwise a very well preserved jacket in mylar sleeve. The jacket states seventh impression. The jackets for the Houghton Mifflin copies were printed in 1955 along with those for the 7th Impression.
