Paperback. "Hoarding Hope: Property Cleanouts" gives ideas and considerations for cleaning out problem properties. Whether you inherited dust covered collections or can't even get in the door because of mountains of stuff, this book will help you see hope instead of piles of stuff. Practical advice is based on years of experience liquidating millions of dollars worth of things from hoarder homes to big box store customer returns and high value collections. Some of the topics discussed include emotional issues related to cleanouts, other options, estate considerations, ideas on what to keep and what to toss, real estate flip cleanouts where the former tenant may have left a nightmare, and safety considerations. For those who have lost a loved one, this book provides a supportive foundation for the healing process of letting go of all the stuff left behind. Property cleanouts require hard physical and mental work. This book can help eliminate a lot of headaches before you begin. It can help you redeem a property that was formerly useless so that you no longer have to carry around the mental stress of all that stuff."Hoarding Hope" also covers cleanouts after an unattended death, a flood, severe hoarding, and other problem property cleanouts. More than a prescription of exactly what to do, this book gives invaluable ideas to help guide broader thinking and planning to cover multiple unique situations.
