- Book 3 of 3: The Lindsey Lark Series
Practically newlyweds, Jake and Lindsey create the perfect win-win plan. While traveling between Tucson, AZ and Estes Park, CO in their RV, Jake will solve embarrassing mysteries schools wished to keep under wraps, and Lindsey, being the ‘cover’ for their presence, will conduct workshops for teachers.
The couple is good at tracking down offenders responsible for petty theft and blackmail—Lindsey called it Sherlocking—but when new mysteries turn personal—slashed tires, spattered blood, a stolen pet, a missing person … everything changes and all hell breaks loose.
Who was this enemy that secretly harassed them from town to town? Would the ongoing mystery ever be solved? Would they ever feel safe again? Jake called in some favors and managed to finagle the DNA testing of several blood samples. The results were shocking, and the dangers they faced became deadly.
Be prepared to love these human heroes as well as Wendell, the mastiff, and Malcom, the bird, during their adventurous and dangerous life on the road.
“Cricket Rohman really nails it! She gives her readers a ton of depth in both the storyline and character development. A great, fun read!” ---Lala Corriere, author of Bye Bye Bones: A Cassidy Clark Novel
“Cricket Rohman's novel reminded me of the Miss Fisher Mysteries. Funny, dangerous, and a puzzle not only to the detectives on the case but also to the readers at hand. Jake and Lindsey are deeply in love with one another and their bantering throughout the story will keep readers grinning. Entertaining from beginning to end.” --- Danielle Urban
“Many juicy elements vie for attention in this third book of the Lindsey Lark series. There are the sweet, loving movements of romance, the witty banter between Jake and Lindsey and the humorous happenings that make for an interesting, fun read. The author created a thought-provoking mystery with the perfect amount of drama to keep the reader completely engaged.” --- beckyb0416
“Not wanting to be tied down to any regular work that would keep them in one place, Jake and Lindsey travel through the States in their RV, along with their dog and bird. Their little family is just so adorable, and the love between them so palpable!” --- Caterina
