8vo., with map as frontispiece, 28 full-page illustrations, and plans, neat signature on front free endpaper; maroon cloth, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with one small stain on front panel. Published to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the battle. The text is that of the third edition (1848) augmented by illustrations reproduced from those by George Jones in 'The Battle of Waterloo, with those of Ligny and Quatre-Bras' (1817).
