Maroon cloth over boards with gold gilt lettering on front and smaller black lettering down the spine. Some fading on spine and some light rubbing. Corners are still fairly sharp, no breaks in the cloth. Previous owner's name on the top of the front pastedown. Hinges have no breaks-front or back. Pages are clean and all are present. 198 pages, 12 chapters with 2 appendices. Great picture frontis with tissue paper between picture and title page.
