A complete three‑volume Chelsea hardback set of Leonard Eugene Dickson’s History of the Theory of Numbers, one of the most important reference works in classical number theory. Originally published 1919–1923 and reissued by Chelsea Publishing, this set remains a foundational resource for researchers, historians of mathematics, and collectors of early 20th‑century mathematical literature. Dickson’s History of the Theory of Numbers is widely regarded as one of the most exhaustive surveys of classical number theory. Chelsea hardback sets are increasingly scarce and sought after by mathematicians and collectors.
