nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - The History Of His Own Time: Compiled From The Original Manuscripts, Of His Late Excellence Matthew Prior, is a book written by English poet and diplomat Matthew Prior in 1740. The book is a compilation of Prior's personal accounts and observations of the events and people he encountered during his lifetime, including his experiences as a diplomat in France and his interactions with prominent figures such as William III and Queen Anne. The book provides a unique perspective on the political and social climate of the early 18th century in England and Europe. The original manuscripts used for the compilation of this book were discovered after Prior's death and were edited and published by his friend, Samuel Johnson. The History Of His Own Time is a valuable historical document that offers insight into the life and times of one of England's most celebrated poets and diplomats. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
