Two volumes bound in scarlet boards and spines; the lightly soiled boards with embossed decoration; also the darkened spines, both lettered and decorated in gilt and both with discoloured and abraided 3 cm x 3 cm sections, causing 1 cm x 5 mm loss to surface cloth on vol 1. Internally the front end papers of both vols marked with paper and glue residue. Both title pages stamped twice with 'Torquay Natural History' . Remaining contents of both vols clean, unmarked and securely bound. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # X1838
