This book recounts the history of the formation of Lebanon County in Pennsylvania, focusing on the period leading up to and including the American Revolution, when the colonists in that part of the world were engaged in armed conflict with the British. The book provides insight into the founding of Lebanon and the surrounding area and the motivations of settlers in the face of conflict with both the British and local tribes. Rich in historical detail and offering a glimpse of a bygone era, this book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Pennsylvania or the American Revolution. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
