The most outstanding feature of this volume is the addition of the 6 supplementary plates to which are affixed the labeled lace samples. They are of Old Italian, Chantilly Point, Old Spanish, Jorchon, Brussels Point, Valenciennes, Malines, Chioggia, Duchesse Point, Renaissance Point, Honiton, and Venetian Rose Point.
