Third and revised Edition by Lt-Col. k S Laurie, a Past Master. The original Histroy of the Guild of Saddlers was written by J W Sherwell and published in 1889. An order of the court stipulated that every liveryman on admission should have a copy, but the supply of the first edition failed in 1923. Subsequent editions were published in 1937 and 1956. THe book is in a leather bound cover with the gold coat of arms of the Saddlers on the front. Presentated to Christopher Michael Barclay in 1973 by the Saddlers Company. Pages very good condition, although some foxing on page 115. Some fold out illustrations, some in colour. Seller Inventory # ABE-1630419791928
