Leather. Condition: Good+. No Jacket. Volume IV only. Includes Book XVII (The Seven-Years War: first campaign, 1756-1757) and Book XVIII (Seven-Years War rises to a height). Dark green leather with bright gilt lettering and decoration on front cover and spine, spine ends show significant wear, minor rubbing, other minor shelf wear. Gilt on page tops, pages edges a little foxed. Binding is cracking in the center of the book, all pages are present and secure. Maps are tanned and foxed, affecting the nearest pages with light foxing. Flyleaves tanned and/or foxed. Otherwise pages are white and clean, no markings. Green satin ribbon marker. 281 pages with 8 fold-out maps. Packaged carefully for shipment in cardboard with U. S. tracking.
