12vols, 8vo (8 1/2" x 5 1/4"), 3 engraved folding maps, Eastern Empire. Western Empire. Parts of Europe & Asia Adjacent to Constantinople. Full old tree sheep with smooth backs in six compartments divided by gilt fillets, gilt black lettering pieces in the second. Old sheep backs with wear & chipping retaining all original lettering pieces, some board reattached with band repairs but all holding, corners & edges worn, sides nice, smooth & good with very light wear.
