About this Item
Black cloth. 8vo. 106pp. First edition. A history of the descendants of William Hubbard, the historian and minister, who came to America in 1635 and settled in Ipswich, Mass. He was pastor of the church there from 1656 to 1704 and wrote "A Narrative of the Troubles With the Indians in New-England" (1677) and other works. Laid into this copy is a 27 page Supplement printed in 1915. A good copy with some scuffing and wear to the cloth and a few gouge marks to the rear cover. The text is very good and clean.
