Parts I and II of Matthias Earbery's very scarce pamphlet about the Hanoverian succession to the throne. Consisting of a 1772 edition of Part I, ESTC number T36291, with title page ornament of fleurons forming a rectangle, and a 1771 edition of Part II, ESTC number N21850, with 'accrued' to the title.The author of these political pamphlets, Matthias Earbery, was an industrious participant in historical and theological controversy, usually in defence of the Whig perspective.In these pamphlets, Earbery accuses the King George I of putting Hanoverian interests above those of the country. He supports his view with reference to the South Sea Bubble, and Britain's commercial interests in the East and West Indies. Unbound, as issued. Externally, light handling marks to title page and final leaf. Internally, generally firmly bound, but with final gathering working loose and very weakly held. Pages generally clean and bright. Good.
