In two volumes. [16], 401, [5]; [4], 362pp. With a half-title to Vol. II. Contemporary speckled calf, ruled in gilt and blind, contrasting red morocco lettering-pieces. Extremities rubbed. Marbled endpapers, paper repair to verso of Vol. I FFEP, else internally clean and crisp. A late eighteenth-century edition of French clergyman Rene Aubert de Vertot's (1655-1735) popular history of Swedish revolutions, first printed in 1696. Size: 8vo. Seller Inventory # AQ21631
