It's one thing to be young and beautiful in Laguna Beach. It's another to be young and beautiful in the city that values it most. The Hillsfollows Lauren ("LC" from Laguna Beach) as she makes the move from her O.C. digs to Los Angeles. Lauren has tried to leave before, but always ended up right back in Laguna. Now she's determined to make it work in Los Angeles, where she'll be free from the stifling cliques of Laguna Beach. Lauren has her own apartment with her best friend, Heidi, she's taking courses at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and she landed her dream internship at Teen Vogue. Can she prove herself in the fast-paced publishing world, handle the pressures of school, and adjust to the social whirlwind that is the city of angels?

Andrew Perry studied film and literature at Antioch College. While still in college, Andrew began working at Marvel Comics and upon graduation became an assistant editor there. Besides writing stories for Marvel and Archie Comics, his work has also appeared in Dirt, The Los Angeles Reader, and Greed. Andrew is a director and producer of television series, most recently for MTV, FOX, and PBS. He is currently a producer for The Hills. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
