The hardcover binding shows significant wear, with fraying and damage visible on the spine and corners. The cover is faded with some scuff marks, and the spine is fragile, indicating the book's age. There is no dust jacket present. The pages exhibit yellowing and some foxing, typical of books from this era. Despite these flaws, the text remains legible, and the illustrations are intact, offering a glimpse into 19th-century educational materials.
