#1 National Bestseller - New Release by Andrew D Thompson, adapted for teens and young adults from his Award-Winning book—A High-Performing Mind.
What if there was a simple and engaging way to improve how a teen thinks that helps them find motivation and purpose, overcome adversity, achieve their goals, and make lasting improvements to their lives?
A High-Performing Mind for Teens is a life-changing, proven system of simple steps that will show teens how to fulfill their potential in an inspiring and entertaining way so that they can excel at anything they do and live a better and happier life.
A High-Performing Mind teaches teens how to overcome adversity, become self-motivated, conquer procrastination and self-doubt, improve their focus, discipline, and confidence, get past their nerves and fears, and be at their best during those success-defining moments of their lives, so they get better results, achieve their goals, and find lasting success.
This must-read book for Teens was written by High Performance Coach Andrew D Thompson to teach young people what they'll never learn at school. These tools and strategies helped Andrew survive a near-death experience in 2016 that left him bedridden for months and took him over 8 years to overcome. He was able to overcome this challenging period of his life by drawing on everything he had learned and taught over three decades as a professional athlete, hospitality industry executive, and high-performance coach.
These exceptional experiences and working with youth and adult elite athletes, leaders, and high performers in sport, life, and business for over thirty years led him to develop and share the 12 Attributes of High-Performers, through 32 specific and easy-to-use mental tools and strategies.
This entertaining, inspirational, and empowering guide introduces powerful lessons through real-life stories and simple steps to help teens:
► Learn the habits, attributes, and mindsets of high performers to succeed in any situation.
► Perform at their best, get better results, and achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
► Overcome adversity, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and low self-esteem, and develop the skills to stand out from the competition and excel in their pursuits.
► Use simple steps to improve focus, conquer procrastination, and increase discipline.
► Live with purpose and increase their motivation, resilience, confidence, and productivity.
► Create their own personalized action plan by answering the questions at the end of each chapter to accelerate their results and take immediate steps to improve their lives.
A High-Performing Mind is a proven system to live in a more rewarding way—whether someone is aiming for the top, struggling to get through difficult times, or looking to find simple ways to improve their circumstances.
