Item description from seller

Print on Demand. This book offers unprecedented revelations about the secretive, potentially criminal, personal relationships of two of history's most famous Englishmen: William Shakespeare and Sir Francis Bacon. The author's original research suggests that these great minds were brought together by their mutual friend and patron, Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex. The ensuing interplay of artistic creation and financial dependence led to a profound shift in the balance of power between the two men, driving the later stages of their extraordinary relationship. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
