As New condition; This not only a gripping story but also a unique historical document. This picture of the Second World War and the early postwar period in Germany includes, among other things, a breathtaking description of the bombing of Dresden in February 1945 and shows, with empathy and understanding, the everyday life of ordinary Germans who hated Hitler. Finally, it is a rare glimpse into the clandestine network of the Polish Resistance, the Home Army, inside the Third Reich.
