This book is a series collection of poems that are styled in scenes and volumes, entitled "The Hidden Within," an assortment of poems aligned in a somewhat pattern of a story. Depicting the journey of the author Benny King Azangisa, on the pursuit to venture on his dreams, just as any young man should. The ideology of "The Hidden Within," from its actual logical perspective, paints a scenario where there is a divulging taking place but sourced from the heart of a person who expresses his experiences through the art of poetry.

CHAPTER 1
Scene 1
The young sole strides from shores into the ink, -1000
he paints from the carved lacunas in the heart
spelling out the unsaid. -1010
He so draws with the slender supply,
fearing the drowning splash in the distance. -1020
To lay to the risk is too deep into the dust. - 1030
While the years await in desperate restrain
he shall feed in growth to strengthen fins. - 1040
The diving shall take the shaped to the colouring. -1050
The bending of the tall may strain in despise
But the poet still crawls
surfacing in slow rush to his rise. -1060
The Inception
My scroll letters my steps in shadows -1070
The light clings to my eyes
flicking from the distance of my genesis -1080
Whatever else that lies ahead, is darkened by the unfolding
of what entails my life already lived. -1090
Had I Known
While the sun shone on our bay
I saw all gone out to make hay
and seeds on their soils to lay.
I sat home and enjoyed my holiday.
Oh! Had I known
The people reaped abundance without delay,
everyone in the land had it made.
So because of the shame, I had to hide away,
mostly because of the loans I had to pay.
All I could carry with me,
was a tombstone made out of clay. -1100
Oh! Had I known
Now I am old and there is nothing I can do
except have these words to say.
Don't ever wait like me till your hair becomes grey,
neither let time decay
for time never comes to stay. 1110
In my whole town, I was the only one treated as a flay,
I only visited homes when they were heading for the buffet.
In my honour, on every gate there was a belay. -1120
Oh! Had I known
The reason why I starve is because to my obligations I disobeyed
To the negotiation between laziness and I, I replied okay
Now its rule I obey. -1130
Don't ever be like me this I pray
because now I have only one phrase remained on my lips to say
Oh! Had I known
The poor man his dreams
As I walked through the darkness of life
of all my wants I was deprived.
For so long as I strived
I could only survive through the hive.
Good things came and dived
oh! how I used to feel like stabbing myself with a knife
but my hopes to thrive kept me alive. -1140
This was to be a writer
I wanted to make people's future brighter
tough unstoppable like Jet-fighter.
Through my words I wanted people to be inspired
mostly those retired or fired
give them hope that they can again be hired
and aspire to reach higher.
Thinking about the fame gave me more aim
knowing that darkness I will tame
and if it didn't happen, I will have myself to blame.
"Life is just a game, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose"
but it depends on what you choose. -1150
I chose to win
I said no to strive and yes to life.
Today, it gives me the means to survive. 1160
and this life is Christ.
Barrenness conceives
I go through a lot
yet I manage to smile.
The strings cleave out of melody
crafting the psalm of the sot. -1170
Yet I know that it is but for a while
Barrenness conceived me in broad daylight.
It pampered me with the ravelling clusters of the stricken.
It called me gaffe. -1180
The foetus in steps on the slippery flaws of a narrow night
licked delirium from the shedding,
frosted from the scoured quaff. -1190
My veins sketched the art of struggle on my skin -1200
the leeching sun depended me for its thirst. -1210
By distant view of its aesthetics
to be made coal, fitted me best. -1220
I paused on the light of disclosure,
the pairing of the roots that pathed to my being. -1220
I fell into to a plot set by the hands of blunder
but my making fashioned me in the nature good fate. 1230
If the ashes of the decayed could bear
then the kismet of my life stands greater to the prospect -1240
All that days offered employed me to the enrolling of the past wages
I still bow head in knee, in obeisance to the leech. -1250
I am stricken with the roar of its appetite
I die yet to live -1260
I live submerging into the realms of changing roots
Am drained into my fertility. -1270
The Stand to fears
Am in a brawl with fear and its succeeding.
My heart is clawed in throng bleeding
and on it, it's feeding. -1280
My toes crawled me in narrow isles
my footprint engraved a map to exile
the land of the old ally
of whom I streamed fierce grief to grow my meal. -1290
I always stared afar off but now I stand at the fierce glare
from the opponent that doth fight another. 1300
I find battle at every step drop
because l have been enslaved
with the whips that order my path. 1310
I am so scorched, so I flee again to wrap my eyes. 1320
I eloped a gratis with my dare
I limped cuffed with fright, springing like a deer. 1330
The holes of the forgotten welcomed me
the dark in loud silence fenced my new home. 1340
The race sought for its medal
the sores advocated to render the penalty -1350
my heart scorned me with the rage of its regrets,
for it betrayed the character of its nature. 1360
I so laid my ego to be horsed, by the better half
that journeyed away from duty -1370
I lingered as the speed of vengeance dragged me to the triumph
I stood driven in the stoning sight
of what I shun to oblivion. -1380
My bravery struck me down to take the reign
It stripped the mask off the foe -1390
and there I discovered ...
I was my fear. -1400
CHAPTER 2
Scene 2
The hurrying jar hastens to the surface -1410
the waters post the restriction to the young -1420
though late to the realisation on the attempt of the lurk
not much to show but a lot taken to give ... -1430
Black
As the nature of the straying dusk
so doth smoke crawl in,
diffusing in the skies in blackness. -1440
As natural as the curly locks,
its presence evokes brightness,
as its forces saturate the moon. -1450
It perfumes the atmosphere with peace
and every nostril absorbs the smell of freedom
as the birds begin to croon. 1460
The alphas howl in honour
The woods clan to give fire as hands cling close.
Eyes look to the skies with wishes,
the only time the evening knights of the cloud feel to let out their glows.
As the darkness beams and the sparkling spear unleashes. 1470
Its presence drunken the eyes
And unfolds it into the trueness of living
Where nothing is veiled. -1480
Black preserves the beauty of the earth -1490
The soils lick their feet
And adores the nature of their soles. -1500
It is known to the earth that it is the most of they that are black
Who quench their thirst
And satisfy their hunger. -1510
It is they that are black who honour creation and it's maker,
black is the authentic icon of the natural. 1520
Africa
Africa the land filled with milk and honey
the goal mark of abundance and money.
Oh! but how the people sleep and play with bunny
living in the pampering comfort of daddy and mummy.
How I wish this was an irony
yet, hopes are staked in the hands of the attorney. -1530
Let's rise and take a journey
instead of living in agony
blaming Donnie and Johnny. 1540
As we ignore, outsiders come in, prosper and go away
while the sun shines, they make hay. -1550
They make so much prosperity without delay
when seeds on our soils they lay. -1560
They grow above us and so their rules we obey. -1570
It shouldn't be so, Oh! Africa
Awake from your slumber
and learn from your every blunder
Help one another.
Africa is our hometown
It's our own
so let's turn it around
because it's from it our forefathers
have sown and grown. -1580
Go west, north and south
there is nowhere like your home.
It shines bright on the earth like a star
stamped on it like a scar.
So let's embrace it
let's raise it
let all graze from it.
Africa is where we should love
we should always lift it above
because it's our home.
Lend a hand
I can see desolation everywhere
I feel sorrow and weeping in the air.
It's the cry of the weak
It's the pain of the sick.
Looking for shoulders to lean on
seeking for shelter from the sun
praying that a miracle to come
When the world will come to be as one.
Let us hear the cries of the people
let us feel and bear their pains
let's us come together
let us care for one another
let us lend a hand.
I walk the streets and I see people lying cold
some are dying some with no one to hold.
There is no joy, there is hope
when there is no peace it's hard to cope.
So let us wipe their tears away
let us bring them a brand new day.
They're praying for a miracle to come
when the world will come to be as one.
I go place to place
I see no smiling face
we're all made in God's image
we are the ones to make the change.
United we stand, divided we fall
so let us answer the call.
Cloth of many colours
We are different pieces of a cloak
we are covered by different colours
but sewed together by love's stroke. -1590
When we are pieces separated
the beauty is unseen
and our words will be ignored even when evoked. -1600
We can't do it alone
just as the flesh cannot do without the bone.
We can only be adorned, when we are put together
to become a cloth.
We will become the cloth the earth will wear,
it will brag about us to its fellow planets.
It will call us its cloth of many colours.
With the arrays of our union
we spark in magnificent glory.
Separated we struggle to fulfil the aims
but united, nothing stands to fence down the acclaims.
The silence re-echoed
(the 52 rabbis)
Wail, wail, wail
The utterances I hear
mirrors faced on today, flickering the
reminiscence of yesterday's clamour
the six million yells for bail. -1610
A shaking of illusions that only distort
depictions of his glare. -1620
Time hurried away reality -1630
The escape relieved the pain of tomorrow's scar
all until the rebirth of the Nazi,
in a skin from near afar. -1640
Both cries of past and present
blend into a harmonious uproar -1650
the guns and knives beat on the same tempo -1660
it's a holocaust that has looped on earth's core -1670
an evoking that plunges the emblems
of Israel and Congo. -1680
The unfortunate lands, bruised into the same sore. -1690
Plights of noisome evil,
inflicted on women and children
death that rises like the dust in the desert. -1700
The abuse of the fruitful gender,
seeds sown by exert. 1710
I hear the wailing
other than remorse
I hear a hailing -1720
change is silenced in the growl for power and wealth
change yet awaits to be endorsed. -1730
Ark of change
We are replicates of the Lord Jesus
we are here passing a message across
which is that Jesus died on the cross because of us.
All he wants is give him your trust
and your sorrow will burst into dust. 1740
We are the awoken youth Ambassadors
we have chosen to carry the cross
making the gospel flow on the sliding scene of the continuous.
The gospel needs to be made conspicuous
this is because
the world needs to be conscious
of the devil's evil works. -1750
So let's rise as mighty chariots
and take away the source of chaos
invading like a horse
moving like a great force. -1760
The world is tied up in a chain
they're being put in pain
they can't explain.
This is because they maintain in a stain
that will bring no gain.
Its not time to use your brain
because all you'll do is ever drain
and go insane. 1770
We are the ark of change
your life we arrange.
We take you to another range
though a lot strange
but better than a cage.
We take you out of bondage
untie your bandage
fix your damage
Deliver to you a package
change your image
open for you new page.
We change your language
put in your heart a massage
that says am an ark of change. -1780
The accord prayer tower
We have come together
from homes afar we answered the call
blowing the trumpet
as we march in accord
filled with the spirit and spreading the word
building the temple of prayer. -1790
We are accord prayer tower
with love in our hearts
we are joining our faiths. 1800
We are raising our hands as we stand and pray
we lift up our voice in intercession
praying on behalf of the nation.
We are vessels of glory
set apart to carry the cross
filled with the burden of heaven in us.
Raising the banner of the love of the Lord
taking salvation to all.
Anger
Anger is a tormenting force that sprouts up to generate gloom
its ears are open to the sound of fume. -1810
It appears with the vengeance of doom,
appearing on the face, it will always loom. -1820
For agony and misery, it makes room
It desperately falls in love with its victims
and always loves to be the groom. -1830
Its sweep away every smile with its tyrant broom
making them in every predicament explode boom, boom, boom!
Anger is a seed
it is sown through an actions, a word or a deed
It depends on the victim,
whether to treat it as a plant or a weed. -1840
Christmas
Christmas day
Celebrated every December twenty-fifth
during the holiday when we all wait
longing to receive a gift
even until late. -1850
It's a time relatives and friends come together
both old and new
to celebrate under one whether
playing with the big white statue. -1860
It's a time we prepare for resolution
as we move with fulfilment into evolution. -1870
It's a time when on every Christmas tree a star is hung
as we sing a merry Christmas song.
Oh! the voice of the choir
Slowly and steadily beams up fire
the joy of it I can't compare.
It's a time of jubilation and laughter
fireworks fill the skies
and its remembered even to the year after. -1880
It's the time we cook our favourite recipes
the Christmas pie filled with so much cheese
as we walk the streets
feeling the Christmas breeze.
It's the time we remember the birth of Jesus
We acknowledge the love bore on the cross
just for us.
We recognise the purpose.
We are the reason
for this season.
We are what gives Christmas a meaning. 1890
CHAPTER 3
Scene 3
The rocks in the seas call out
am drawn by the intoxication of its slippery tongue
in my fragile moments, -1900
I stand naive
As I sore deeper in hustle
I approach the thorns that hides path to the summit. -1910
My battle
I am becoming what I would like to be
but nothing I would love to be. -1920
I am fortified as the alpha crown
but as of now, I feel like the prime clown. -1930
I freed myself twice,
I battled through an act of sacrifice.
Letting go of what I would like
and giving heed to the requisites of advice
holding unto the dyke. -1940
I know all of my enemy's tactics
yet I find it hard to control,
I refuse to adhere to didactics. -1950
I see the hole
yet I find myself fall into it
I tumble without even having the need
to go through the cajole. -1960
I sit to deliberate for a bit
I considered to think of my will to have been sold. -1970
I overcame it
I jumped over the hole
locked down the desires of my soul
but here I am.
The victor battling to be chained
fighting to surrender to the hosts of my pain. 1980
Doing it, I feel hypnotised
at that time, every sensible part of my reasoning is capsized.
The good goes under
the bad shifts the good conscience yonder -1990
The more I fall, the more am damaged,
I am well aware
but I still fall, dependant on the covering of my shell,
when that really is the blonder I stir. -2000
Am destroying the very entity that shields me,
the thing that gives me the conviction to battle,
the confidence to contend in wars.
The one thing that gives me the assurance of tomorrow
giving me the reason to win always,
whether in joy or sorrow. -2010
Help me, oh! Lord this I pray,
hide me in your love, so I do not fall prey.
Guide me to stride in the light of your way
as I journey with on each momentary day.
The battle is won
the war is lost

The roar of doom respires in the clamour of the mortals
and their souls lie in nakedness
to the slaughter of death. -2070
Dum Dum Dum
Barren minds by the sight of corpse
bury their hearts into the dim row of brutality
having their eyes blinded by the shatter of blood
spilled on the likeness of their judgement. -2080
Dum Dum Dum
Men are fighting in a battle
souls are wrestling in war. -2090
Dum Dum Dum
Alas! the erosion of lifelessness has withered
the last grain on the soil -2100
Victory hails for the battle
but the roar of remorse has stroke
the soul of every warrior. -2110
The memories of regret weakens the shield of defence
as the reflection all selves lie deceased on the floor. -2120
Dum Dum Dum
Guilt wars with the soul
his sword pierces blame even into the marrow
as accusations heap up as coal. -2130
The ground pictures the blood of all selves
reflecting in the same redness. -2140
Dum Dum Dum
Brimstones of damnation has sheltered on the soldiers a dome
death has made in them a home. -2150

The battle is won the war is lost. -2160
