This G+ book was published by New York Books in 1913. It has a slight lean, is moderately soiled (especially the spine and rear board), with all four corners very lightly bumped and slight fraying at both top corners. Head and heel of the spine are also bumped, without fraying or other fabric damage. The front panel applique has mild soiling and tiny edge chips. The front gutter, and to a lesser extent the rear gutter, has binding deterioration where the threads of the binding are exposed. With the exception of an inked 1913 inscription and a small Christmas stamp on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The paper--and especially the end papers--is moderately toned but still quite flexible and not at all brittle. The hinges are tight, strong and completely undamaged. The story is 144 pages, followed by sections entitled: "What it Means to be a Scout", "The Wild Animals of the United States" and "Tracking". The entire book is 186 pages.
