This is a colour-printed woodcut; with the large figure of a Joker with a sack with a handle to catch the number 7 and the numbers 2 to 12 in big round circles hanging on a leaf above and at both sides; with explanatory text in Dutch and French underneath printed in 2 columns; text at top: HET NIEUW ARLEQUINSPEL.(N. 52).LE NOUVEAU JEU D'ARLEQUIN"; size: 11-1/2 x 14-1/4in (31,5x38,5cm); this is apparently a "later variant of the popular board-game "catchpenny print" produced by the firm of Brepols at Turnhout, it stems from the later period of the firm's activity, when producion was mechanized."; printed on a thin paper; (De Meyer p. 85, and Brepols Cat. B 2, 52); it was once folded but hardly can be seen front the front; a few very tiny nicks to edges, a few very tiny dots on paper, otherwise in almost VERY GOOD COND.
