nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Hester Howard's Temptation: A Soul's Story is a novel written by Catherine Ann Warfield and published in 1875. The book tells the story of Hester Howard, a young woman who is faced with a series of moral and spiritual challenges throughout her life. The novel is set in the mid-19th century and explores themes of faith, temptation, and redemption.Hester is raised in a devout Christian family and is taught to live a virtuous life. However, as she grows older, she faces various temptations that test her faith and morality. She falls in love with a man who is not a Christian and struggles to reconcile her feelings with her beliefs. Additionally, she is faced with financial difficulties and is tempted to engage in dishonest practices to make ends meet.Throughout the novel, Hester must navigate these challenges while staying true to her Christian values. She is supported by her family and her faith community, but ultimately, it is up to her to make the right choices. The book is written in a lyrical, poetic style and is often described as a work of religious fiction. It explores complex themes in a thoughtful and nuanced way, and has been praised for its depth and insight into the human experience. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.…
