Paperback. Growing up in a working ranch family of six in Southeastern Oklahoma wasn't always easy for this outgoing cowboy. Pake McEntire gives his readers a first class seat into his life featuring tales of childhood with three sisters, building a cattle ranch while raising his own family of three daughters, the drudgeries and feats of the music industry, his dream of becoming a World Champion Steer Roper and candid stories of his heroes and fondest memories of various people throughout his life. A refreshing memoir of tales that will have you laughing hysterically in one chapter and crying your eyes out in the next, this autobiography is as full of personality, life and humor as the author who wrote it. Pake talks honestly about how it feels to be the brother of Country Music Superstar, Reba McEntire, and why she makes him proud! Many of the stories with in his book feature the two most prominent men in Pake's life his Grandpap, John McEntire, and his Father, Clark McEntire, whom were admired and respected by many. Pake shares heartfelt humor and appreciation for his Mother, Jacqueline McEntire, who had unwavering love and belief in her children. He ends on a high note with a dream come true of having a son and his hopes for the future. One of a dying breed his hand shake is as good and a signed contract and his word is his bond. Pake McEntire is a true American Cowboy who will leave you feeling like anything is possible and that it is never too late to live happily ever after. This item is printed on demand.
