Full calf, 5.5 inches tall. A delightful little binding in full straight grain calf with gilt raised bands, twin labels and delicate gilt tooling to the panels. The boards framed within gilt fillets and a gilt roll. Engraved frontispiece. Neat ink inscription dated 1833 on first blank and previous owner's name on the title page, dated 1864.
