This 6.0 x 8.625 inch, 652 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is a 1953 first edition printing of this BMOC title . . . with the 1953 date on the title page but with no further printing info and no Scribner?s ?A? on the copyright page. The rust colored cloth covers show virtually no sign of wear or damage with the gilt decoration and titling on front page and spine . . . clean and bright. The interior text pages are fine with no markings or damage to be seen. The book does have the small BMOC blind stamp on the rear panel. The jacket is in very good condition with crinkling and fold-wear along the bottom and top edges and with a half-inch piece of the wrapper missing from the spine crown across that part of the wrapper. The spine coloration is a touch sun-faded but the rest of the wrapper . . . colors are bright and show the BMOC indicators on the inside front flap. 652 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-1590
