Synopsis

Rethinking the Dialectic is not an insane task, nor is it historically out of date, much less doomed to failure. Yes, it is extremely difficult, but equally necessary. In this sense, perhaps it will be in the not-too-distant future that a renaissance in Hegel studies will be witnessed. Henrich (1971) says that "whoever wants to understand Hegel must be alone with him. He will not find any external commentary to help his reading, instead of only trying to replace it.
