Neuware - Riley Blue's life has recently been turned upside down. Almost dying can make things like that happen. Waking up in the hospital to the sight of the detective who saved her life has helped her put things into perspective. Trying to get her life back in order, she has taken some time out from being the socialite and social media queen her fans know her to be. When the murder of another social media influencer puts the detective she owes extreme gratitude to and her older brother's best friend in her direct path, Riley can't ignore the attraction she has for Diego Flores. Little does she know, the affection they show to one another also puts her on the radar of the killer. It's wrong. He's a horrible friend. Detective Diego Flores can't and won't deny the attraction he's felt for his best friend's little sister since the first time he held her bleeding in his arms. Relief can't describe what he felt when she finally opened her eyes in the hospital. And he can't explain it, but there is something that keeps him coming back to her. When a popular social media influencer turns up dead, Diego thinks Riley's knowledge of the lifestyle will give him the information he needs. However, relying on Riley may put her in the direct sight of the killer. Protect and serve gains a whole new meaning when the woman he has fallen for is in danger.…
