About This Book
What if the biggest threat to your future isn't a disease you'll get, but the twelveyears of declining health almost everyone gets first?
According to National Institute on Aging research, the average American nowspends roughly the last 12 years of life in declining health — chronic disease, mobility limitation, cognitive decline, or some combination of the three, stacked atthe end of a life that modern medicine has gotten very good at extending and notnearly as good at making worth extending.
Call it the Healthspan Gap: the spacebetween the year your body starts failing you and the year you actually die. It is notprimarily a genetics problem — most of it is still being decided, right now, by whatyou do on an ordinary Tuesday.
The Healthspan System is the minimum-effective-dose longevity plan for people whoactually have a job. Not another 500-page protocol demanding two hours a day, apersonal trainer, and a home lab. A ranked, evidence-based system — built tosurvive your actual calendar.
Inside, you'll discover:
- The Longevity Priority Ladder — the exact six-rung sequence for where tofocus first: Sleep, Movement, Nutrition, Stress Regulation, Social Connection& Purpose, and Advanced Tracking, ranked by leverage and cost so you neverwaste effort optimizing rung four before rung one is solid
- The Sleep Consistency Principle — why a fixed wake time is a higher-leverage habit than a perfect bedtime, plus the Two-Hour Wind-Downprotocol and a business traveler's jet lag system built around light-exposuretiming
- The 150/2 Movement Protocol — the minimum dose of Zone 2 cardio andresistance training that moves the biomarkers that matter, without turning intoa second job
- The Floors-and-Ceilings Nutrition Framework — aprotein floor, a fiber floor, and a processed-food ceiling, hit 80% of the time, not a diet you'll abandon in threeweeks
- A Lab Filter framework and decision tree for yourbiomarkers — exactly which numbers to track, howoften, and a clear self-manage-vs-call-your-physicianbranch so you're never guessing
- The Nervous System Toggle — a Go/Recoverframework for stress regulation built for a demandingjob, not a silent retreat
- The Comeback Protocol — the 48-Hour Rule and ahabit-formation system for what happens when lifehappens: a business trip, a sick kid, a brutal quarter — soone missed week never becomes a lost year
- A complete 90-Day Plan — week-by-week, one rung ata time, so you're never trying to overhaul six areas ofyour life simultaneously
A
Workplace Protocol
for desks, travel, and businessdinners, and a closing Legacy framework for making thesystem outlast any single motivated year
Whether you're starting from zero or already doing some ofthis and want a system that actually holds together, The Healthspan System gives you a ranked, time-budgeted protocolfor closing your own Healthspan Gap — twenty focusedminutes at a time.
