concepts with a single intention: to help healthcare professionals reform their lives,
leading to exponential growth and enhanced healthcare safety.
After being laid off from a 21-year career in May 2022, post-COVID-19, Dr Neha
realised and experienced the true traumas and plight faced by healthcare
professionals. Despite all the setbacks, she feels fortunate to have transformed her
life with grit and mental toughness. Healthcare Genuis is an actionable self-help
guide designed for surgeons and other healthcare professionals who confront
various hurdles in their careers and personal lives. Dr Neha also provides insights
into the role of patients and families in their own outcomes, and how their trust or
mistrust can significantly impact healthcare professionals.
Dr Neha offers support for those battling with the pain of layoffs, the continuous
stress of job insecurity, and the damaging effects of work-life imbalance. Additionally,
she shares valuable experiences for healthcare professionals dealing with
medicolegal issues or constantly facing the threat of such pitfalls. For those feeling
stagnant in their careers—whether financially or in terms of professional growth—this
Healthcare Genius presents various concepts to help amplify their progress.
Furthermore, the book addresses the need for awareness and enhancement of
standard healthcare safety systems and processes.
This can arm the professionals with the practical knowledge necessary to succeed in
