About the Author: Devendra Vora, M.D., was an Indian acupressure specialist and author. He has also written Defeat The Dragon, Instant Diagnosis, and Health in Your Hands (Volume - 2). Vora was introduced to acupressure in 1977, and he started off by treating simple diseases. Gradually, he started to cure kidney problems, cancer, heart diseases, and HIV. He has treated more than two lakh patients, and his services were free of charge. He has also trained thirty-thousand volunteers in the art of acupressure. The Open International University of Colombo gave him honorary degrees of D.Sc., M.D and FRCP, for his research on HIV/AIDS and cancer. He was also nominated for the Nobel Prize, for dedicating his life to the service of humanity. Vora passed away in 2012.
