Review:
The latest installment in the Quiet Professionals series is a page-turner until the very end.-- (11/01/2014)
Ronie Kendig has done it again! My laundry piled up, dust bunnies multiplied, and dishes overflowed in the sink as I was totally enthralled with Hawk. I had to keep reading to find out what happened next. The characters leap off the page and capture my heart.. I can't wait for the next amazing title from this series.-- (10/21/2014)
I, personally, enjoyed this military crafted story much better than Raptor 6. It was more of a struggle for the two characters who had to deal with their past issues and come together to find love, God, and true freedom. The writing was riveting, especially with the details of the frozen tundra and the wind whipping through the characters thin clothes. I felt like I was climbing that mountain with them as they struggled for their lives.-- (10/28/2014)
Ronie Kendig is a master at weaving several sub-plots together, toggling back and forth between them simultaneously, and then bringing them all together at the end. The action in HAWK is non-stop with suspense at every turn. There are a multitude of characters in this story, but the hero and heroine, Hawk and Fekiria, are both the strong, resilient type. Trouble seems to find them both very easily. This inspirational thriller is about trying too hard to prove one's self, about being afraid of relationships and about having a relationship with God rather than being religious. Ms. Kendig lets us catch up on other characters of whom she has told their stories in previous books in this Quiet Professionals series, as well as her Breed Apart series. HAWK is inspirational suspense at its very best!-- (02/01/2015)
