Dark tales of obsession, loss, and the restless dead
Ten ghost stories to leave you unsettled, disturbed – and checking under the bed before you step in.
From icy alleyways on Halloween night to the shadowed courtyards of a centuries-old coaching inn, ordinary life twists into nightmares in this haunting collection, including:
- The Dead Man – an accident stirs something long-dead.
- The Haunting Of The Rooksfell Inn – a journalist disturbs a gruesome spectre she can’t escape.
- The Wrong Boy – a bedtime ritual warped by grief and longing.
- A Warning To Candidates – the unfinished business of a tortured soul.
- Skin Of The Other – an academic’s fixation leads to unholy experimentation.
From Tina Vantyler, author of six popular true ghost story collections, comes Volume Two of original tales inspired by real-life hauntings – stories that tap into guilt, dread, and the dark corners of the human mind.
Perfect for fans of Susan Hill, Laura Purcell, Peter James, Shani Struthers, Amy Cross, and lovers of atmospheric British ghost fiction.
