Follow the early life of Richard, one of ten children raised as Mexican migrant workers in mid 1950’s to early 1960’s eastern Washington Beginning with his first day of school, the book romps through his life touching on family, love, infidelity, death, music and folklore. This is not a book that only migrant workers can relate to but touches on complexities of life common to all. The infusion of the Hispanic culture gives it a different dimension and flavor that you will relish. Folklore and storytelling are given high priority. Immerse yourself in stories that include tales of La Llorona, a mysterious, frightening character that many Mexican children were raised with. Overall, you will be moved by the love for family. Family mattered then. Family matters now. All of the ingredients for a Harvest of Memories.
