Complete 50 volume set. 22.5 x 15 cm. Uniformly bound into full red leather with gilt design, lettering, and foredges. 5 raised bands to spine, moire endpapers, red silk ribbon. Frontispiece and tissue guard in each volume. Lacking one of the Easton Press bookplates, the others are unused and laid-in. The only flaws I notice are 3 of the volumes have minor scratching to the gilt foredges; beautiful condiiton overall. Easton Press's edition of Dr. Eliot's Five-Foot Shelf of Books. Originally done in 1909-1910, this set was designed to be a complete at-home western classical education. It includes great works from poetry, theology, philosophy, science, economics, drama, literature and more. This is a massive set and will ship in multiple boxes.
