In From the Hart, beloved newspaper columnist Janet Hart Leonard shares the kind of Christian living wisdom you can't find in a textbook—only through walking through valleys, making mistakes, and discovering God's faithfulness in every season.
If you've ever struggled with people-pleasing, caring too much about what others think, or trying to fix everyone around you, this book is for you. Janet tackles the real struggles Christian women face: empty nest syndrome, setting boundaries, healing from heartbreak, finding peace in difficult seasons, and learning when to say "let them" and reclaim your joy.
Inside From the Hart, you'll discover:
- Faith-based encouragement for navigating life's unexpected detours with grace
- Permission to stop jumping through hoops and start living in God's freedom
- Practical wisdom on forgiveness, people-pleasing, and finding your voice
- Heartfelt stories about family, relationships, and growing older with faith
- Reflection questions perfect for personal devotions or book club discussions
- Hope that it's never too late for God to do something beautiful in your story
• Women navigating midlife transitions
• Book clubs seeking meaningful discussions
• Anyone longing for grace-filled wisdom and hope
• Readers who loved Let Them by Mel Robbins and want a faith-based perspective
With the warmth of a trusted friend and the honesty of someone who's been there, Janet reminds you that your journey matters, your words matter, and God wastes nothing—not your mistakes, not your pain, and certainly not your story.
