Octavo (24 x 16cm), pp.251; [1]; [1] reviews; [2] facsimile letters from fans; [1] black and white reproduction of cover of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Bound in publisher's blue cloth, illustration by Cliff Wright of Ron and Harry in the flying Ford Anglia to upper, along with gilt titles and gilt reproduction of Rowling's signature, with titles and publisher's imprint in gilt to spine; all edges matt gilt, blue endpapers. A lovely fine copy which appears to be unread. The second novel of the perennially popular children's series.
