Add to basket16 pp., folio. An unusual, unopened copy, this entire 16-page issue is as originally printed on a single sheet measuring 46 x 33 in. (3 ft. 10 in. x 2 ft. 9 in.) and in the form as it came off the press. It was then folded to the usual 16.5 x 11.5 in. but never cut open for reading. This issue includes a Thomas Nast drawing. The front-page portrait is that of the notable Swedish-American engineer and inventor John Ericsson, engraved by R. Staudenbaur. A generally well-preserved copy, with a few short closed tears and small stain on the cover; light edgewear. Usual lateral fold across the center.
