Alice Bloch, a physician, argued that fresh air and sun throughout the body contribute to health and strengthen the immune system, that with a naked body it is easier to control and observe exercises, muscles and movements. She also emphasized the importance of exercises being done in groups, preferably in pairs or trios, which was based on the idea that the body was strengthened more effectively when the training was dependent on other bodies.
