Wendi Fox Pedicone became a cancer statistic in August 2004 when she was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer. With a tremendous amount of support, she triumphed over the disease. Her book, Hanging Out With Lab Coats, chronicles her journey as she shares her personal story and passes along helpful resource information she gathered along the way.
Wendi Pedicone has expanded her career to include public speaking as a way to "give back" to the oncology, cancer, and pharmaceutical communities, and motivate people to improve their health and wellness. She delivers presentations to show many aspects of life through the eyes of a cancer patient and caregivers: she moves audiences to tears, out-loud-laughter and cheers. As a person who is now living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer (she had a recurrence after her debut book was finalized), she is passionate about the work she does to inspire and inform people in vitalizing ways about how to live well with this disease.
