A Taste of the Adventure Inside:
1. Begin your journey by landing in Brindisi, a city steeped in history and charm. Explore its ancient streets, the Roman Columns, and enjoy the local meal. Then head to your enchanting home base, Castro Marina.
2. Relax in Castro: Repeat as many days as you wish—stroll along the picturesque harbor, soak in the sun on rocky inlets, and explore the mystical Grotta Zinzulusa.
3. From thermal baths of Santa Cesarea to Otranto mosaics, to Torre dell'Orso coastal legends to white beaches, every stop is a story. In Otranto, explore the old town, the castle, the historic cathedral and its famous mosaic floor, and end the day at the beautiful beaches of Torre dell’Orso.
4. Discover the dramatic cliffs of Ponte Ciolo and the southernmost tip of Salento at Santa Maria di Leuca, where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet. Visit the charming coastal towns of Torre Vado and Torre San Giovanni, and immerse yourself in the historical richness of Ugento.
5. Start the day in Nardò, with its baroque architecture and vibrant town square. Continue to the quaint seaside village of Santa Maria al Bagno, and Explore Gallipoli’s old city charm, bustling fish market, and grand castle.
6. In Maglie, enjoy the local markets and artisan shops. In Lecce, often called the "Florence of the South," marvel at the baroque architecture, visit the Basilica di Santa Croce, and savor local cuisine in the lively piazzas.
7. Venture into central Puglia to see the iconic trulli houses in Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, explore the fascinating underground world of the Castellana Caves.
